Our Story

ella & sunday was founded with a simple idea — to create beautiful, comfortable clothing designed to be worn and loved every day.

Inspired by a love of family, the label takes its name from founder and designer Rani Wilkinson’s daughter, Ella.

We believe a wardrobe should evolve with you, rather than be defined by seasons. Our collections are designed to work together — pieces to wear year-round, layer, reimagine and build upon over time. Timeless silhouettes, thoughtful details and a sense of individuality sit at the heart of everything we create.

Natural fibres are an important part of our story. We seek out cotton, linen and silk, alongside beautiful blends and hand-loomed textiles chosen for their feel, character and wearability. Traditional techniques including hand block printing, embroidery and hand stitching bring another layer of craftsmanship to our designs, celebrating the human hands behind every piece.

Our collections are produced in limited quantities with trusted makers in India. We work with smaller, ethically managed fashion houses where relationships matter, visiting our makers personally and working closely with the people who bring our designs to life.

For us, knowing how and where our clothing is made is just as important as how it looks and feels.
