Returns Policy

We love it when we can find the perfect something for you. Of course, without trying on garments, we understand it can be tricky getting the right size. Returns on Full Price Items

You can return full price items bought online within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, store credit or exchange.

Please Note:

  • The refund is for the item/s and does not include the postage charges.
  • Charity Cosmetic Bags and Gift Vouchers are not refundable.
  • Full price items purchased using a promotional discount code are considered "sale" - see below.

Return postage is the customers responsibility, however we will ship your exchange back to you, for free! *Full price items only. 

Returns on Sale Items

Items to the value of $50 or less:

  • No returns or exchanges accepted
  • Refunds on faulty items only

Items to the value of $51 or above:

  • Sale or discounted items (including full price items purchased using a promotional discount) can be returned for exchange or store credit.
  • You must return a sale item purchased online within 14 days of delivery.
  • No refunds
  • Postage paid at customers expense unless the item is faulty.
  • Postage paid for exchanged items at customers expense. You will be asked to pay the flat shipping rate of $10 in our returns portal.
  • Refunds on faulty items only.

How do I return products to ella & sunday?

When you place an order we send you a confirmation email to let you know we received your purchase. In this email we also include a link to our Returns Portal.

To complete the return you will need your order number and email address. We will approve the request once it is received and email you instructions. This is not an automatic process so it may take up to 24 hours to receive a reply.

When returning an item, we ask that the garment has not been worn or washed, all labels are attached and that you take care to protect the garment when posting. If concerned, please return goods via registered mail to ensure their safety as we do not take responsibility for goods lost in transit.


Our returns portal will only accept a straight exchange of the same style.

If you would like to exchange for a different style, please send us an email and include the style, colour and size and we will be in touch with instructions. 

We are happy to hold items for one week. The last thing we want is for it to sell out before your return arrives!

What if I don’t have my confirmation email anymore?

You can access your Order History from your account on our web site. To access this information, simply login to your account – where you can view your order history. If you checked out as a guest and don't have a login, contact us to find your invoice number.

What if you receive an incorrect or faulty item?
