Kantha simply means 'patched cloth' and refers to both the tradition of producing these unique quilted blankets, as well as the craft of hand stitching itself.
Our Kantha quilts are made with 3 layers of cotton. The top layer is hand block printed and hand stitched together with the other layers to create a stunning light weight blanket perfect for warm summer evenings or added as an extra layer on cold nights.
Measuring approx. 230 x 270cm these lovely quilts will fit comfortably on a Queen or King size bed.
Please note that these stunning pieces are hand printed and hand stitched using age old techniques. Any blemishes or imperfections are part of the beauty of this artisanal piece. Colours may vary.
I purchased the pink and green kantha pillow cases, they arrived quickly and are in perfect condition . The material is beautiful and soft and I hope the blue are back in stock soon so I can order them as well

The kantha quilt Tulip Yellows is a beautiful quilt, brightens up the room, not a over the top bright. Looks stunning on the guest room bed.

Stunning summer coverlet!
I’m delighted by this lightweight quilt. Perfect for hot summer nights. Beautiful stitching and the colours and pattern are exactly as depicted on the website.
My only concern is that it didn’t come with any care instructions and the website mentions it being machine washable which concerns me due to the delicate stitching.
