Kantha simply means 'patched cloth' and refers to both the tradition of producing these unique quilted blankets, as well as the craft of hand stitching itself.
Our Kantha quilts are made with 3 layers of cotton. The top layer is hand block printed and hand stitched together with the other layers to create a stunning light weight blanket perfect for warm summer evenings or added as an extra layer on cold nights.
Measuring approx. 230 x 270cm these lovely quilts will fit comfortably on a Queen or King size bed.
Please note that these stunning pieces are hand printed and hand stitched using age old techniques. Any blemishes or imperfections are part of the beauty of this artisanal piece. Colours may vary.
