Artist Collaboration with Jocelyn Proust 

Jocelyn Proust is a renowned Australian artist known for her striking print designs. Drawing inspiration from modern art and design, traditional folk art, nature and travel, Jocelyn begins her journey by working in her sketchbook. Drawing individual elements together and transforming her ideas digitally into her final pieces.

Colour comes first and is the most important element in her designs. Jocelyn created a stunning abstract design with a floral focus for ella & sunday, finding the perfect balance between simplicity and complex detail. She then pulled small parts from the main artwork to create two complimentary prints that could be spliced together, print on print. At the same time striking enough to stand alone.

This Summer 2018/19, ella & sunday collaborates with Jocelyn Proust to produce an exclusive collection of designs screen printed on cotton/linen and soft cotton poplin. We love colour, attention to detail, natural fibres and styling that will stand the test of time.
